Summer season is great for whale watching, as the wildlife in the bay is at its highest peak

Summer season is great for whale watching, as the wildlife in the bay is at its highest peak. This is the time when the migrating whales and birds entertain us with their magnificent presence in the happy company of the resident whales.
Commonly seen are minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbor porpoises and humpback whales. During the puffin season, mid May to mid August, we stop by one of the puffin islands for a closer look at these charismatic birds.
