​INT 1025  RIverRide - White Water Canoe Day Trip on Hvítá from Reykjavik

Canoeing on Hvítá River, right next door to Geysir hot springs in Iceland

White water canoeing is the perfect activity if you are looking for a challenging adventure out in the Icelandic nature. Our canoes are inflated and selfbailing, meaning that they do not fill with water and are easy to maneuver in the rapids.

Two people sit together in the canoe and steer it, meanwhile a guide in a kayak or raft makes sure everything is safe and sound. We paddle down the Hvítá river which has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We travel for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river.

We only recommend this trip to those looking for action and are in good physical condition.

The RiverRide is a great action trip, specially for those with some experience in rafting
